However it's not so cold this year and I still want to wear the hat. Am I turning into Hilda Ogden? I think it may be an old woman thing? It sounds a bit like the TCP Ointment (which you can't get any more either) - it was a smelly and greasy ointment of a dull and unpleasant yellow colour, however it seemed to cure EVERYTHING!
