As usual, I am preoccupied with skincare routines for menopausal and perimenopausal skin and how to increase the moisture levels without causing breakouts or triggering sensitive reactions.
Regular readers will know that I am a fan of the Liz Earle skincare range which is based around natural products that are gentle on the skin. Today, I have just been online ordering Liz Earle’s Brightening Treatment.
It is hard to justify spending €60-€100 on a facial in an economic crisis but that doesn’t mean you can’t afford a little luxury. If you share my passion for the Liz Earle range then chances are that you have a stock of Cleanse & Polish and own your own muslin cloths. But have you tried the Brightening Treatment? If not, I recommend getting it. Here are two ideas to jazz things up a little by using it creatively.
Add the Brightening Treatment to your Cleanse & Polish first thing in the morning. It’s zingy and will brighten up your complexion for the day ahead.
Treat yourself to a nourishing treatment and by adding a pump of the Brightening Treatment to the Liz Earle nourishing mask. I love the way this zings up an otherwise rather heavy treatement. The smell is wonderful and your skin feels fresh and nourished when you rinse off the excess using your muslin cloth.
Of course you can also use the Brightening Treatment as intended- one pump applied to the face, massaged in and removed with the muslin cloth.
I think this is a great pick-me-up product for when you’re feeling tired or hung over or just a bit drained as a result of the hormonal changes that can affect us during perimenopause.
